Business Strong July for TSMC and UMC

TSMC had July revenue of $1.74 billion up 7.3% on July 2012 but down from the $1.77 billion of June 2013.

TSMC had sales of $1.73 billion in May – a slight rise on April’s $1.7 billion and 17% up on May 2012. April 2013 was 23.5% up on April 2012.

TSMC’s Q2 sales hit $5.2 billion – up 17% on Q1, and H1 sales were $9.7 billion

UMC had July 2013 revenues of $386 million, 11.6% up on July 2012.

UMC had Jan-July revenues of $2.4 billion up 6.3% from the $2.34 billion of Jan-July 2012.

UMC had June 2013 sales of $368 million which were 0.94% down on May but 11% up on June 2012.

UMC had May sales of  $361 million – up 5% on April’s $336 million. UMC’s January to May sales were $1.6 billion-  up 4.17% on the same period last year.

UMC had H1 revenues of $2 billion which were 5.4% up on H1 2012.
