Manufacturing Productronica: Yestech demos fast AOI with colour imaging

Nordson Yestech will show its FX SL advanced AOI inspection system for PCBs at Productronica exhibition in Munich ( November 12 – 15).

The FX SL AOI, which will be demonstrated on the Yestech Stand 438 in Hall A2, offers high speed “capture on the fly” inspection using angled cameras, a 3D height sensor, full color digital image processing technology and both image- and rule-based algorithms.

Configurable for all line positions, the system can be used for paste, pre / post-reflow and final assembly inspection.

The use of advance colour imaging offers “high-speed PCB inspection with exceptional defect coverage”, said the supplier.

With one top-down viewing camera and four side-viewing cameras, the FX SL inspects solder joints and verifies correct part assembly.

The California-based company will also be showing the BX-UV inspection system for conformal coatings in the “Cleaning and Contamination Testing Centre,” located in Hall A2, Stand 429 during the four-day event.
